My actual plans for today? Pretty much stay home, eat pizza and chicken, and maybe play video games with a few friends. Not much, but I should still have fun.

Yesterday, I dressed up as a gangster, and I entered the costume contest at school. I lost to Awesom-o the Robot, though, not to mention Roger and Jessica Rabbit. Oh, well, their costumes were way better than mine, anyways.

Can't think of anything else to put here, except Happy Halloween!!! _{And be careful of ghosts, goblins, and Michael Jackson zombies.}

YomiB: Last night we had a small surprise party for my dad's upcoming birthday. There weren't a lot of people there, and we pretty much had pizza and cake to eat, but it was okay.

I dunno if I mentioned this before, but as of today, my current school has been a university for about... a month. Yeah, that's right, I'm a university student now and I didn't even have to sign a transfer form or pay more money! Instant prestige win, I say.

Y'know how a while ago I pointed out how Tracey and Matsuda were both really similar? Well, I've been noticing the same type of thing with Light Yagami and Cyrus. I mean think about it - they both want to create a new world (Granted, Light's taking the more figurative approach.) with the help of at least one kind of god - neither of which is really interested in helping, anyways; Dialga and Palkia are pretty much being forced into it while Ryuk's just bored, they both have some sort of super-detective after them, (Well, actually, Looker's just after Team Galactic in general, but I digress.) they're both really good at using people to get what they want, and the both of them have some issues with emotional control and sanity. Heck, I think somebody's even doing a Death Note/Pokemon crossover fanfic where Light joins Team Galactic. I seem to find this sort of thing too amusing for my own good.

Just came back from shopping, and I got some new leather gloves that're fuzzy on the inside!

Sometimes, when I watch Hetalia episodes, I find myself saying "Aw, poor Canada!" more than once. But he gets the short end of the stick a lot, so I guess it's okay. (That and he's just too cute for his own good.)

Not much else I can say right now, so that's about it for now.

YomiB: Well, nobody had an answer to my Higurashi question from the last journal, so I'm moving on now. If you do have an answer, feel free to tell me.

Things are still going okay for me in the schooling part of things. I have been feeling kinda awesome for a few reasons - I went to Rutherford House for the first time ever, (and totally geeked out over the history ) I'm actually doing okay for marks, and my college became a university... a few weeks ago.

Randomly started playing Mystery Dungeon again. I totally wanna recruit Ho-oh now.

When HG/SS does come out over here, should I get just one or both at once? (Since it'd come out in spring, I could easily ask for it as a birthday present... but I'd rather have convention money. XD)

Must... have... No More Heroes 2...

Japanese class is still piles of fun, especially if you get there before class starts. Lately, we've been talking about zombies a LOT.

And finally, starting now, there's going to be a club missing. That's because I have finally come to accept that is more or less dead. Or probably comatose. If they ever become active for a long-term basis, I'll put the icon back in, but for now, it's gone. I think. Seems like there's some kind of unwritten rule that only one Tracey Sketchit fanclub is allowed to be active at one time here, but that's just me. *shot*

Some of you may remember this amv -> [link] <- that I plugged a while back. Well, I happen to have fallen in love with the song. Thankfully, I know that the song is called "Dear You". Unfortunately, I have no idea which version it is, because apparently there's five or six versions. So, I pose this question to all the Higurashi fans who find this journal - Which version of "Dear You" do I like? And don't just say "Oh, well, why don't you watch the anime or something?", because that show is a little too... yeah. So I'm fine with death gods, political cartoons on crack, and emo rich kids who make deals with demons, but I have a problem with cute little girls killing everyone? I don't know if I'm a pacifist or just wimpy. Just answer the question, pretty please?

Japanese class is still tons of fun; heck, I managed to find a guy in there who watches Hetalia! Incidentally, he's also the same guy who wants to fight Godzilla.

Been sick for a while, but I'm okay now. And I'm not hospitalized or dead, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't swine flu.

Found myself addicted to the Bokurano OP despite not watching the show itself. This seems to be a thing I have; also, why do giant robot animes always have awesomesauce opening sequences? You'd think there wouldn't be much you could do for a minute and a half's worth of giant robots, but these guys can get pretty danged creative.

Weather's been weird as heck; in the last week, it's been warmer than it has been all summer.

YomiB: ... By which I mean my Japanese class.

I'm serious, it is fun; the first day was pretty hilarious. Okay, at one point in the class, we had to introduce ourself in Japanese, and then explain (in English) why we were taking the course. There were lots of \"I-wanna-learn-more-about-Japanese-culture\" answers, and naturally, there's a few otaku in the room, but by far, the best answer was from the last guy who spoke. His reason for taking the class?
"I wanna fight Godzilla!"
He said that with a straight face, too.
Meanwhile, the whole class is dying of laughter, even the teacher was laughing. It was... fantastic.

Right now, I'm going nuts 'cuz HG/SS was already released in Japan, and all the stuff I hear about it makes me wanna play it EVEN MORE. I never had the original Gold/Silver/Crystal games, so this could be a learning experience. Not to mention lots of fun.

Speaking of Pokemon, I FINALLY worked up the nerve to get Dialga and Palkia in Platinum. Now I have three Dragongods at my command! Also, I do keep up with what's going on in the Japanese episodes of the anime, and when I saw the pics for the Togepi episode on Serebii.net, I had to chuckle. Why? Because James did a Gendo Ikari impersonation. XD I dunno, I guess I'm just a big enough geek to be amused by that. _{I don't even WATCH Evangelion and I thought that was hilarious.}

Oh well. Can't think of anything else now, so I'll just stop.
